About The Club
The Club meets every Friday night from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Southside Senior Center located at 2215 S. Fremont in Springfield, Missouri. All are welcome regardless of skill, age, etc. Please use our contact page for any questions. We look forward to seeing you at the club!

Prizes: 100% Gauranteed Prizes! Master/Expert Section: $500-1st, $300-2nd, $150-3rd; Class A, B, C, D, Under 1200: $300-1st, $150-2nd, $100-3rd in each section. Gauranteed. 2019 Missouri Class Champion Plaque awarded to the winner of each section.

On June 21, 2019 Life-Master Bob Holliman will do a chess lecture and simultaneous exhibition, entry $5, at the Club, 2215 S. Fremont Springfield, MO starting at 7 p.m.

Congratulations to Jared Bray, USCF 1874 as the 2019 Springfield Park Board Chess Club Champion. He defeated runner-up Dylan Mounts in the best of 3 rapid games as they tied at 2-0 in the 2019 Round-robin tournament. The tournament concluded April 12, 2019
